Earth, Sky, Rain

What am I looking at?

Earth, Sky, Rain is a simple model of human growth, healing, and coherent expression.

It describes a natural cycle that appears throughout all of life—in a breath, in a conversation, in a season, in a lifetime.

The model rests on a simple assumption:

Life naturally moves toward growth, harmony, and coherent expression.

The work is not to force healing.
The work is to remove what obstructs this natural movement.

Just as a plant’s roots naturally reach for soil and water, human beings naturally move toward wholeness when conditions allow.

Each image represents one movement in that cycle.

Earth

Earth is the movement downward into rooting, reattunement, and remembering.

It is the return to body, earth, and the living world.

Here we restore safety, presence, regulation, and belonging. We reconnect with what is real, slow, ancient, and alive.

Like roots reaching into soil, this movement grounds us in something deeper than thought.

It is the foundation from which everything else grows.

Sky

Sky is the movement upward into growth, harmony, and expansion.

Once rooted, life naturally grows upward—just as a tree reaches toward sunlight.

This movement is not about striving or self-improvement. It is the natural expression of life moving toward greater coherence.

Here growth unfolds through creativity, joy, wonder, wisdom, and expanded awareness.

This is the flowering of the organism.

Rain

Rain is the return of that growth into lived life.

It is where alignment becomes embodied through relationship, integrity, contribution, and love in action.

Like a mature tree, what has grown within us naturally begins to nourish the world around us.

It offers shade to the weary traveler, shelter to birds and animals, and life to the world around it.

Rain represents this same movement—the return of growth into service and reciprocity.

This model is cyclical, not linear.

We do not complete one stage and permanently move on to the next.

We move through these rhythms again and again—often many times in a single day.

When the cycle is healthy, life flows naturally.

When the cycle is disrupted, suffering emerges.

Trauma matters, but in this model trauma is not always the deepest wound.

The deeper wound is often rupture from right relationship—with body, earth, reality, and the larger living world.

Healing, then, is not primarily about fixing what is broken.

It is about restoring alignment so that life can do what it already knows how to do.

Root deeply.
Grow naturally.
Return as nourishment.
